Red, as I don't care at all for black on tool boxes. Blue would be my first choice if I had a choice of any color.

The black one b/c of the 2 large drawers, you always need the space for larger tools.

The bottom drawers in both boxes are similar so that's a tie. And you already like the look of black....

just my 2 cents....

just looking at the pictures - id say the black gives a nice full lenght top drawer thats good for wrenches, and a second for sockets.. i like the red color better, but the black layout better.

Gotta be honest i like the draw layout of the black one , that dual long draw, one spanners and one sockets. But could i have it in red?

both the same...only slight difference is that red has break up divided drawer below the lengthy one. doesnt really matter much... for big long wrenches... use top drawer... the rest of below drawers do whatever you have to do.

I love the black one for the 2 large drawers but the second drawer is only 9cm deep and hazet deep sockets are 8.5cm. I have 0.5cm left and i also need a sockey tray + 8.5 cm deep socket dont know if it will fit.. and the red one is 9.5cm deep.. aarrghhh..

Well that depends on what type of socket holder you get, but .05 cm should work. Besides, how many sockets are 8.5 cm tall? even if they don't fit with the tray, it won't be that many?........ decisions!! (I feel you there) :dunno:
I guess is time to go shopping for socket trays with a ruler in hand...
