So finally got tired or rummaging through my small tool box and decided to upgrade.

Got a coupon from GJ and went down to harbor freight and purchased a new one.

This thing is huge, had to remove all the doors to get off the truck just me and the wife, assembled it weighs just under 450lbs

In its new spot

started getting some of the tools in, so much space, almost brought a tear to my eye.

and finally some stickers... still have to reorganize the garage more as its twice as big as the one it was replacing. More pics to come.

The extra space sure hasn't lasted long.... when i finally pulled all the tools out of the old box , plus all the ones scattered through out my house, i already ran out of space. Im thinking i might go back to HF tomorrow and get the cart or a side cabinet.

It just ***** having such a small garage, I'm trying to get a bigger house in a few months with a two car garage so i may hold off.

After finally getting everything together my initial review of this box is quite favorable. It blows craftsman and husky boxes out of the water. Its super sturdy and not flimsy at all.

Its not snap on quality by any means, but the closest snap on box is 3000.00 and i had shopped around craigslist for a few months and the cheapest decent shape snap on box i found was 1500.00, i paid 750.00 out the door at HF with the coupon. So at half the price and for the home hobbyist i think its a great deal.

Some more pics i snapped after getting it more filled tonight.

side note it ***** to see how many sockets I've lost over the years, and i wonder how i acquired multiples of the same size for example 7 10mm or 5 9/16?

Thanks guys!

The quicktime bell housing and subsequent t56 its attached to is for another project i have going on, ls2, into an 91 240sx, car should weigh in at around 2300lbs with around 550 hp. Should be fun.

The clock was a gift from the mother in law, have no clue where she got it.

The socket organizers where from Harbor Freight, they are on sale 7.99 for the metric and 7.99 for the SAE set
.

Didn't expect so many people with interest in the car or drifting, as its pretty oddball thing down here that not to many people know about. Here some more pics and a vid.

We're working on putting a 1uz in my 240sx. We've already finished a buddy's, but I want to see how well it holds up, first.

Your car is MUCH nicer, though. Lol. Where are you located?

I'm located in Miami, fl. There's a bunch of cars with 1uzs rolling around here. A couple ae86, a supra, and a s13. They have all held up pretty well.

Good looking box. Good luck with it. I came close to pulling the trigger on a big HF box a while back and I've often regretted letting the deal I had go. It's time for me to upgrade so maybe I'll take another look at what HF is offering these days.

I appreciate the skill that must be involved in drifting I have trouble getting around turns with my tires not smoking! Sweet box too if I was gonna get a home box that would be it.

Who knows?
Congrats on the box.

Thread should have been named this instead:

"Badass 240 + Videos!, Oh yeah, got a new box too!"

Any chance you know where I can get a coupon for that same box? I want to buy 2 of them and they're $799 at my local store before taxes. Thanks
