Why would you compare price of a 26" wide HF unit to the price of a 36" Costco unit? I would certainly hope that that the 10" narrower box would be the less expensive of the two.

I don't know... people have done stranger things....

that's probably this one:

it's not new... they had it a couple years ago and it was a hot seller. i bought one. they stopped carrying it and i guess they brought it back. it's nice... i've had it for a while now and i like it; been very useful for me. i'll say it's not 304 stainless though... magnets stick to it so little nickel content.

Yup. That's it.

Its a nice chest. It is about 18 inches deep. Up to now I have only owned one Gladiator chest which is 24 inches deep, and 24 is the way to go for me and what I'll look for if I have to buy another chest....it is a very nice chest though!

Seems like a nice box/chest for the money particularly when you compare it to other locally available units at the same price point.

A few years ago my wife purchased a stainless unit from Costco. I think she paid something like $700-800 which included freight to my door. The quality is excellent for the price. Wouldn't hesitate to receive this as a gift again in the future. ;)

In the past 6 months at Costco I have seen a small Craftsman 6 drawer 'top' chest (don't know but I'd guess 20" wide max) different from the 3 drawer little one. They have also had a 30" Stanley, the Gladiator top/bottom that they seemed to never have a matched set. I think there were 8 separate situations where they were selling half the gladiator set at more than half the price. The 56" stainless is there now, I think a Gladiator bottom, they've got a set of Gladiator cabinet/worktable also.

I get the impression that they get some overstock/one off shipments from when other retailers order a thousand, Costco jumps in and says 'I'll have what she's having' and has enough to put 2-3 in each warehouse.

I haven't seen this Homak set in mine yet and I go there pretty regularly.
