These are my first two craigslist buys. First is a kennedy 270. Other then some scratches don't look like it ever held a tool. Gave a whooping $60 for it. The other is a 1962 kr 300 b. I gave $250 for it and other then lubing the drawer slides am going to keep it as is. Going to make a top for it, just haven't decided wood or steel.

The 300 is the one withe the "rolling garage door" right? I like that box for the shallow depth of the drawers and having lots of them...

I have two of the split cover Kennedy's from that era, but both are all drawers. One red, and one wrinkle brown. Nice well built boxes!

Great buys on both. The K300b with the full set of drawers is fairly rare. Mine doesn't and I wish it did.

Outlaw, yes it has the garage door. Any ideas on the age of the kenndy, I was think 60's to 70's, but saw a box like it posted here and the owner said 50's. The kenndy I have at work and have really havn't figured out what to with other put stuff on it. It was too cheap I couldn't pass it up. The SO is going to be my new home. I have been looking for one for a few months and passed on several without full drawers.

To the best I've been able to ID mine, I believe they are 50's, probably late, but I have nothing definitive. (Like you someone else said that drawer pull style was 50's)
