Does anybody know a timeline for new production by SK? The new ratchets were advertised in other options. Everyone just assumed that the new ratcheting wrenches will come in new patters as well. Maybe even more sizes. I recall reading a question about the flex-head ratchets in time for Epstein's day

I don't know when new ratchets will come out. Perhaps asking SK customer service would be more fruitful.
Regarding ratcheting wrench variations, I don't think anyone can give you a timeline on a tool that the manufacturer hasn't even announced but everyone just assumes they'll make.

I'm waiting on some flex head LP ratchets!
Country of origin is pretty important to me; therefore, I like to support SK especially.

If they'd offer the X-frame ratcheting wrenches with a flex head I'd be all over that. They have to know that would be a good step.

By the time they release all the ratchets in the configuration I want them in, I could have played the waiting game and bought a bunch of used Snap on ratchets for cheap.

Frankly, if S-K didn't wrap itself in the American flag they would be out of business in a month.
It is the only tool company of which I am aware that has a line of only domestic tools. That is definitely something in this day and age. Of course, I am aware that some things are just rebrandings. Wright Tools is probably the closest company & it owns Cougar Pro as an imported line.
I don't agree with that at all. I don't think they're doing their bottom line any favors having dragged their feet so slowly on new and innovative products that would actually get the attention of professionals and aficionados but there will always be a market for affordable US made basic sockets, ratchets, and combos. Even more so these days with every B&M going import.

Cougar line is imported now, it used to be Danaher USA stuff. I'd be more inclined to buy Wright given the choice, because they are one of the few privately held tool companies left in the US. Perhaps the only privately held hard line tool mfg.
Who owns Cornwell? It's basic tools are still the same domestic ones.
It takes time to bring Newly designed products to the marketplace, especially considering there commitment too Domestic manufacturing. It’s not like they are just taking your run of the mill 72-90 tooth ratchets and changing the handle color that seems to get everyone amped up around here as some New “Exclusive” Ratchet.

Yes, SK uses a combination of Stonehenge, a sun dial and Mayan Calendar to determine when they might release a new tool. 
It's truly an exercise in patience and maybe loyalty to see if anything new gets released. The 1/4 inch drive 90 tooth ratchets came out in December 2018 so, in SK time, they're newly released.
Off the top of my head, i only remember some deep impact sockets and mini pliers coming out in 2019.
I would like to see a lot more new products like flex head and long fixed 90 tooth ratchets, different versions of the X Frame wrenches, I'd like SK to take the anti slip open end off of the X Frame and stick it on their long combination wrenches. Perhaps the Ideal owned SK isn't doing well and can't afford to develop and release new products

Ideal is a GSA vendor. Given that fact, SK is most likely moving more stock than the public is aware of.

Does SK always release a statement for new products? I couldn't find anything on their web-site similar to a feed for new products.
