New Tools Never Used???

Not exactly tools, but maybe: my favorite trick is to buy the shop manual for whatever and find, years later, I never needed or used it. Not the dumbest thing I've ever done, not even close, but some cash ******* in various manuals. Maybe it is a good thing: no major overhauls, etc., lately so no oily fingerprints on the manuals.

My mother is a librarian and they get Chiltons, Haynes and Factory service manuals donated all the time. They do not put them in circulation so she just brings them to me. I can not tell you how many manuals I have for vehicles I will never ever work on but I keep them anyway just in case.
