The Irazolas don't appear to be as good as the weras but seem pretty good. Spanish made. The hex drivers have a rotating collar the green bit you can hold whilst spinning the top.

I'll see how they hold up

Good stuff! I like the hex drivers. That's a pretty slick mechanism -- now I'm jealous (must go back to e-bay) :lol_hitti

You'll look back in a while and laugh at how big that seat looks compared to her. You won't be able to picture her that small. :)

Aww, she's cute!

What bothers me a bit is how you posted the pics of your new tools BEFORE the baby!

Anyways, congrats!

CONGRATS on your new baby, my wife and I adopted three boys 1 1/2 years ago. They are 11, 13 and 14. My wife and I can not have any children. We hope to adopt three or four more if these three don't wear us out. I get such a kick out of "tuning up" my kids bikes. The don't know a snap on tool from a generic tool but they will soon enough. Many automotive projects planned. CONGRATS again on the new addition.

Congratulations...on the baby of course. My wife and I are expecting around March. I hop I'm able to still get packages at the door when the little one comes around.

Just kidding, of course. First time daddy? It's a fun ride. Take lots of pictures- they grow up quick.

Congratulations to you and your family. Good luck with the little one they don't stay that size for long. And don't worry after a while you'll get used to never having a decent nights sleep again

I got a phone call from a buddy of mine several years ago, he went on and on about the Kubelwagen he got, and the trailer to carry it, and the Town Car to pull the trailer, and as an afterthought, mentioned that his wife had another kiddo that week too. I tease that dumb SOB constantly about that...

Just think about this. By the time she's 3, she'll be three times her birth weight and at age 3 she will be half her adult height. Then when's she's around 6 or 7 she'll turn into a drama queen and won't wear anything you pick out for her. She'll also want you to leave the room when she changes clothes but she'll want you to come in and help her wash her hair. Yes, I've got a 7 year old daughter going on 18. It's a blast. At first I was worried about what do to with her (a girl) but she's just a part of everything I do (just like my soon to be 11 year old son). Oh, baby #2 or #3 will be a breeze compared to #1. Also, there's really no such thing as a baby that "sleeps all night". Most people say this even if the baby only sleep for 3-4 hours at a time. Finally, the key to keeping your sanity during this early phase is sleep management. If you and the wife work full time, create a quick schedule where one of you is on-call every other night for the baby. Also, work out a "sleep in day" right away (pick like a Sat or Sun for each of you).

If the baby won't sleep. Put her in her car seat and then place the car seat up against the drier. As long as there's something in the drier (like an old jacket) the noise will quickly put her to sleep.

Secret to properly installing a baby seat. Put the seat in the car and then sit on it, with your knees on the seat and you facing the rear of the vehicle. Then put the seat belt through. Even if it seems a bit loose, the minute you get off the seat it will be really tight. Keep in mind that the baby only weighs about 7 lbs so the seat won't be moving on you.

Finally, say good bye to your time and money for at least another year or two. This is a really fun stage though so you won't miss anything. Congrats!

ovilla, car seats have to be rear facing here by law so thats not so easy but I have it mastered. Same with the pram. The pram is a silver cross which we got 2nd hand from a family friend very expensive but sadly these days expense doesn't mean quality. But the car seat fits the pram base which is great.

TBH I think shes the best thing ever. I have only missed about 10 nappy changes, they were the ones the mrs did when I couldn't be in the hospital. I have dressed her, bathed her and changed nearly all her nappies. Even when she pees and poo's at me I don't mind, I'm just gratefull I got a perfect healthy wee baby.

She settles quite well with me, the mrs hands her to me and then I take her on a tour aroudn the house, or lie on the bed watching tv with her on my chest or I sit here at the pc with her and read to her which knocks her out cold and I pick educational stuff

Money isn't an issue, she has me and her mum and my family who have spent a fortune on her already, especially my gran. Shes the first baby on my family in 17 years so everyone is spoiling her.

The sleepless night swill take their toll, but last night I was leaping up and tending to her but she was just hunrgy and thats the mrs job as I can't help with that
