Well new to me. About a month or so ago, my best friends uncle died. The house the uncle was living in, which was in Buffalo, NY, was his childhood home along with my buddy's dad. Well my buddy's dad is in charge of the estate and decides who gets what and so on. Well long story short he brought me back some stuff of his father's. I know it's not mechanic related but they are still tools and I thought I would share.
First are a set of Craftsman socket chisels. I have never seen these before. They look like clones of the old Stanley 750 chisels which are highly sought after by woodworkers from what I gather.
Second is a 24" backsaw with a Montgomery Ward's mitre box. The saw it self has no ID marks on it other than a "Warranted Superior" medallion. From the info I have found, that was a generic medallion Disston used on saws they made for other manufactures and sellers.
The last item is a Proto key chain screwdriver. I remember there being a thread on these a few months ago and I told my buddy's dad because I saw he had one. Well during his cleaning he ended up finding another one and gave it to me. Durez was a plastics manufacturer or something if I remember what he said correctly.
