Hi everyone,
I just bought a Binks (Quincy) 210, and being fairly inexperienced in these things, I wanted to asked the experts on this site if it appears to be set-up correctly.
Please note, these are the pictures of it as it was set-up at the shop where it used to live...I will receive all hoses and almost everything visible in the photos. The only thing I doubt I will replicate for my home is the hard lines. I will likely just put a hose on the outlet coming out of the compressor (unless I hear otherwise.)
This was a sight unseen type of purchase through an auction, so I really have no idea yet how well the thing runs. But it's what I wanted (I really have no business with anything larger, despite my previous post,) at least not yet.
In the photos, I assume the blue canister thing is for moisture management, yes? Also, what is the small line running down towards the bottom of the pump and over to the left? Is this how the tank gets filled? And the slightly larger tubing running from the top of the head down the left side of the pump is what exactly? And finally, the little piece of tubing protruding from the base of the pump with the elbow installed on the end...is this an oil drain?
Thanks for any help you can provide. Sorry to be so ignorant. I haven't actually picked up the compressor yet and am just trying to ascertain what I can from the photos.
