Looks interesting. I wonder if 144 tooth action means there will be 144 teeth. or that it acts like there is 144 teeth.

So far I've been happy with any VIM tools I've owned and this one looks pretty neat. I too would like to check out that locking system.

I think the T-handle thing looks bad though. It would need to be very robust, and based on pivoting in the middle of the handle, I would think the other portion of the handle sticking back past the "T" portion of the handle would basically be stabbing you in the palm. In effect it is a "plus" handle instead of a "T", which I think would be useless. Maybe I'm looking at it wrong.

I'd try a 3/8" one though.

dual pawl 72 tooth action i would guess. similar to a triangle ratchet and maybe even made by them.

I'm sure we will see them rebadged under a few labels.

The fact that "VIM" is photoshopped onto the ratchet makes me think this is already a rebrand from another company.

When I looked at it, it doesn't appear that way.:dunno:

To me, it looks like it would be "T" shaped after flipping the handle up.

Looks pretty good other than that thumbwheel head rotater. Looks like it would get in the way. I'd try one if the price was reasonable

I just happened to see what appears to be a similar ratchet on ebay under the great neck brand.

RLR... rather low-quality ratchets...

I'll stick with my SO, thanks.

Looks like something I'd see on a 3AM infomercial.

But wait! There's more. If you call within the next ten minutes, we'll send you TWO lame looking ratchets AND include a set of Ginsu knives!

That thing looks like it belongs on the tool belt of one of the Village People. I wouldn't be caught dead with that unnatural looking thing in my hand. :wtf:

I buy tools to use, not to make fashion statements.

Look, there's a timer! We obviously keep track of when our commercials go on the air, to the second, because we have such a limited supply of the 500,000 items we ordered. Make sure you call RIGHT NOW! We have live people ready to answer your call (As opposed to dead ones?)

By the way, I have a Ginsu 2000 lying in the knife drawer, and it works just fine. It would make a better ratchet than the one shown in this thread, even.
