New Vise need help...

Im looking for a new Vise for my Garage rebuild. Not sure what size or type to get.

I do a lot of cars rebuilds and wood working.

Amazon has the Yost Vises on sale lately and I am told they are very good vises. Any help would be appreciated.

Yost fsv series is great for the price. Very happy with my fsv-5 I got last year.

Jazz: i've got few Yost vises and even though their tollerances aren't like some of my older better built ones they are a quality vise. the one a member posted a link from an Amazon ad has one for $70 for a 4 inch with pipe jaws that looks like a decent deal.

strange part about the ad is that they offer FREE SHIPPING, but say usually ships in 1 to 2 MONTHS. GEESH i'm not sure i'd buy something with those timelines.

if you were closer i'd open up a few drawers and a cabinet and help you out and sell you something from my storage, but you are a bit too far to just stop by so best of luck.
