New vise question

Was at lowes this evening picking up some plumbing stuff and seen this vise.http://www.lowes.com/pd_552526-281-4935505_0__?productId=50168505&Ntt=

They had one on the clearence shelf for $30 looks like the box was damaged and the handle was bent. I don't need it, but at that price do you guys think its worth it.

First of all your link doesn't show anything. 2nd you need to read "The vises of garage journal", then you'd know that no Chinese vise is worth it.

spend a little more and find an old vise if possible or for $30 the vise at Lowes will probably work for light to medium duty work if you don't use it as a press.

some Chinese made vises have lifetime warranties, but haven't come across one yet i would buy because i like the way the old ones look and work better.
