I replaced my old Water Boss 900 with a newer model of the Water Boss 900.
I decided to replace it with the same brand not because I am in love with the Water Boss, I did it because it was the easiest thing to bo. The job went well, chasing a few SCH 40 1 inch fittings didnt. Would you believe I couldn't find a 1 inch SCH 40 street ell. I went to Menards,
Home Depot and Lowe's and ended up at my local Ace Hardware and they stock them.
I spent more time chasing a small handful of fittings than it took to replace the softener.

I was looking for a fitting in cpvc and looked all over for one. I went to a professional plumbing store, they didn't have what I wanted, I went to Ace Hardware and they had what I was looking for, It was 3 times as much as the other cpvc fittings at the big box stores. But If I had started there I would of been money and time ahead.
