Just got it today. Wasn't happy at first how the bottom's drawers worked. Seemed to have a additional closing detent of 1/2 an inch or so. Hated it since you couldn't open the drawer with one hand...... defeated the purpose of the grip latch drawers. Ended up finding there were rubber "boots" on the rear of the slides. Removed those, drawers opened and shut normally. Very happy with the box. It's supposed to be the same as the Industrial Craftsman model. Didn't want it in black, so I had to go this route. It gave me an extra bottom drawer to boot. Overal I'm happy. I wanted to give the story as I posted pictures, but don't know how to put the picture in the body of the text. You mean those black detents at the very rear of the slides in picture #4 ?

Those are there to prevent your drawers from sliding open while you move the box.

The drawers have the "grip latch" up front to keep the drawers shut.

Seems redundant to have them also in the back..... Unless i'm missing something...

For some reason they were only on the bottom box. Didn't come with them on the top.

They might be there to act as a bumper-stop to prevent the drawers from banging the back wall; that's what I have on my lock-n-roll snap-on box. But if I slam the drawers hard enough, they still bang the back wall anyway. I'd suggest you hang onto them just in case.

It wasn't cheap...... $2,100...

It was $100 cheaper than if I went the Craftsman route..

I had the Craftsman Pro model of that box and loved it. It is within a frog hair of truck stuff and is serious overkill for a home garage, DIY, weekend warrior.

I have a Waterloo workbench. It's a nice bench with ball bearings and a steel top. Very happy with it.

I've been transferring tools over to the new box from my 25 year old craftsman stack.... It's weird how your content with something you've used for so long and when you get something new high quality and your thinking (why did I use this thing for so long)....
