Welcome! I assume you have been reading up on the main vise thread over in the tools section.
I have a few Wilton vises myself.
Which model are you chasing today?

I agree with 1/2 Cup
NO, it won't stop at just one if you are anything like the rest of us. 3 years ago I used to have only 2 which I used from time to time. Now I have around 50. They have taken over a wall of shelving in the downstairs room my wife now refers to as the “vise room”. :)

BTW, although I have many different makes, models and sizes, my “user” is a Wilton C1

My buddy has a c2 and as soon as I saw it I had to know more.

The one I am pursuing has a 5inch jaw and "101046" stamped on it...no info to be found. Could it be a early or late 9500s?

My machinist model 500N (bullet shape, 5 inch wide jaws) has the number 101164 on one of the jaw towers.

Is the one you’re chasing a long bullet shape with the separate end cap or the stubbier model bullet known as “tradesman”?
If you can post a pic, perhaps others can identify.
