I've got to build a few large window screens. (52x50"). I ordered a 20 pack of 60" screen frames from HD and all of them have a slight bow in them. Can that bow be corrected in the screen frame building process? Or I am looking at a headache?

I am installing a cross-bar since the screens are so large.

Never done this before but could they be bowed out so that when the mesh is installed that they are pulled straight and give a bit of spring to the mesh so that it stays taught?

Headache.
How much bow are we talking?
I'm assuming they are the regular aluminum frame pieces. Those should be straight. If you are close enough to a store, just go in and select straight rails. They are normally in stock.

I used to buy bulk screen frames in 16' lengths and various thicknesses as I made tons of replacement screens. they are always bowed slightly away from the center, so as you roll in the screen it pulls it in.
totally normal . nothing to worry about .
it's a bit of an art to get the right tension ( not to loose, not to tight)
good on using cross bars !
