After years of moisture problems from my concrete contractor not installing the vapor barrier as they were supposed to, we're trying a different system to take care of the moisture and also installing a completely new product from Wolverine Coatings.

Here is Eric and Robbie spreading and rolling the floor.

The scraped, ground, and shot-blasted the floor, applied several treatments of the moisture barrier (I'll link Eric to this post and let him describe the process.)

After the metallic was applied they lightly sprayed the entire floor with denatured alcohol to produce a veining in the metallic flakes. I'll get more pics after work today.

Very interesting look. love to see more pics. Now did I miss some details?
You had an epoxy floor before? Right? Did it fail due to moisture?
This new covering is moisture proof? Very interested in details as my home garage (the Mrs.) has serious moisture problems.
Now I'm leaning toward jackhammering out the old slab. (Its that bad)

Yep, it failed due to moisture. I have more pics but I need to fix the links to the pics in the other thread. I believe the product used to block the moisture was called Barrier-1. I sent Eric(from Wolverine) the link to this thread earlier, he can describe the exact process.

I'll get more pics tomorrow in the daylight. I didn't get home until late tonight.

I appreciate the info. Waiting anxiously to hear more. Which is funny as it wont be a fix I'll be doing real soon. Cold damp Pacific NW. :lol_hitti
Not to mention I've been living with it for 5 years. Mamma would like her garage redo someday.

There is no non-slip in the floor this time. I've had it both ways and the difference was minimal. With or without the additive it's still not very grippy when walking a motorcycle around with wet feet(or wet floor). Dry it's fine. But that's why I keep big pieces of cardboard around for when there might be wet stuff to deal with.

Yes, interested in prices as well. Durability compared to the usual Wolverine Epoxy Coating?

I'm not sure what the DIY price will be. Eric or Fred might be able to answer that.

Yep, bouldering wall. The wall on the left is on hinges/chains and can be lowered to different angles.

Sorry if I missed it but please explain those things on the back wall. Rock climbing wall?

and I love the color!
