New woodstove options-canada

with the first 8 inches of snow on the ground here in ontario I have realized that i have put off buying a wood stove for the 30x40 detached garage i built this summer.

I was planning to put in a valley comfort VC95 and just got off the phone with the supplier and apparently something changed with EPA ratings and the valley comfort stoves arent able to be sold in Canada all of the sudden.

So what other options are out there for a garage wood stove. I have looked on canadian tire/home hardware and there is one that is similar to the vc

but it says its for 1200 square feet

Some of the things i liked about this style stove is you can open the door to the fire box and the fire is well below the bottom of the fill door, so nothing rolls out. The ability to ad a fan. No glass door to worry about cleaning, and the surface can be touched without instant 3rd degree burns

Does anyone know of something similar for a wood burning stove that would have some of the features i am looking for?

There arent many options locally but anything thats certified in canada i can order

im hoping to land around the 2500$ range for the stove then another 500 for the chimney, thimble, etc

This one from Home Hardware would probably be the preferred of the 2 newmac wood stoves for me. Higher BTU and the ability to open the top to cook on would be very nice for out in the garage
