I just wanted to share with you all my new work bench. I picked it up off of craigslist for $60. The center brace will have to go and I will reinforce the shelve with an L bracket to regain strength. I’m thinking about placing some white lament down for the work surface, and wanting to add some lighting under the top shelve. My question is what is my best option for lighting under the shelve. I was thinking LED strip lighting something like this http://cgi.ebay.com/138-SUPER-BRIGH...ryZ20706QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

What do you all think?

LED lighting should work.

The work surface looks a bit low to me for working standing up, and there's no knee room for sitting. Looks a lot more useful for storage.

Theres potential in it, you could lift it (to add more storage too) a little so the work surface is higher. That looks like it has some nice useful storage spaces already. Nice find. The LED's would work very nicely in there. Keep us posted on what you do!!
