Hi All,

Just completed my workbench in my new 32x32 shop. Thanks Steevo for the inspiration and drawings.

Only change I made from Steevo's design was making the boxes slide in from the front rather than dropping in from the top.

Awesome. It looks like something you could buy commercially.

Your shop looks well set up. Any more pics or a thread on it?

Looks terrific! Well done.

I have five old wooden cabinets that came out of lab remodeling back in the 1980s at the research institute where I worked. They date from the 1940s most likely. The original configuration was very Steevo -- vertical plates made from flat and T-stock in the general shape of a rectangle, a series of which held the lab benchtop in place. The verticals were spaced to allow the lab cabinets to slide in. I left a few of those plates in my garage in Columbus when I moved in 1989, and I still miss them! I could use them today.

Thanks.

Top is two solid core slab doors. $68 at Lowes. Will be covering with metal in future. Pure Steevo plagiarism;)

Lots of Steveo inspired benches. HF should send him an annual commission.

Those are nice. Good looking design and shop.

Thats very nice man. I just wrapped up a roller cabinet/workbench for myself and am planning on dis-assembling my 2 stacks and creating something similar in my garage.I like to have my tools "one step" so the 48 x 24 ten drawer roller is a huge improvement for my daily efforts. Sitting at a nice bench inside, with the Trick Tools on each side and a computer up top is SWEEEEEET

Sweet setup! I was envisioning something similar for my garage until I changed my mind to a central woodworking table. I also don't have the cash for 2 HF boxes right now either. Someday.

I love that fridge! I've been watching CL like a hawk for 5 years for one to come up locally, and still nothing.

Looks great!

Watch auctions for the fridge, they come up all of the around me from restaurant liquidations. I have one, but it doesnt have the drink separators which I'd like to find.

Where's all the dust and leaves? My garage looks like a haunted mansion!
