Honestly I believe the only difference is the "racing" stripe that you'll see on the performance series cabinets. Unless you need them to go fast I think it's a waste of money and only a cosmetic thing lol . I have the bold series 12pc set and its been excellent so far!. Not to mention at a lesser purchase price.

anyone know what the difference is between the two lines?

Looking at these two sets, both give me what I need, as far as I can tell both are 24 gauge which is fine for me, the cabinet & wall storage space is most important, are they the same? It's hard to really compare the lines, newage needs a compare tool

The Performance line of cabinets from NewAge have overlaid doors and drawers. The wall cabinets in the Performance line open up to the ceiling like European kitchen cabinets and are supported by struts. Bold and Pro Series cabinets the doors and drawers fit flush with the cabinet. You see the cabinet frames

Just looking at the pictures for 30 seconds:
-the feet are different, performance looks sturdier, but maybe more difficult to clean under
-above the workbench the performance has awning type doors that lift up compared to the side by side double doors
-performance has a second workbench and extra uppers, different configuration for the lowers
-stainless counter vs bamboo

According to the compare guide the performance has a much higher weight rating

If you have the space for the additional units, the $300 difference for considerably more storage space and higher weight ratings seems like a no brainer.

was not really concerned about the visual differences, but the depth and how the hinges work, if it's the same quality then it's up to price per cabinet

I just ordered the performance plus diamond series.

I know the bold series has the thinnest gauge metal, performance has a little thicker, plus has even thicker and the diamond series is a little wider. I could be wrong. Its been a few weeks since i looked at the differences.

I do know the diamond series, performance plus was the best option for me. They were thicker, deeper, and came with soft close hinges.

If you check out http://www.wayfair.com/NewAge-Produ...-9-Piece-Cabinet-Set-51489-51680-NOD1192.html. I got this set when it was on sale a few weeks ago for $1899.

The 24 gauge Performance Series cabinets are smaller. If you look the retail price, the per cubic foot price is about the same.

Performance Plus locker cabinet is 699.99. It's 80" tall by 36" wide and 24" deep. Comes to 40 cubic feet for 699.99 or 17.50 per cubic foot.

The Performance Series locker is 399.99. It's 72" tall by 30" wide and 18" deep.
That's 22-1/2 cubic feet of storage for 399.99 or 17.78 per cubic foot.
