Looking to get the Bold Series 12-piece cabinetry set from Costco

http://www.costco.com/NewAge-Produc...netry-Set--Red-or-Grey.product.100095771.html

Has anyone had any experience with these? I have an empty garage right now, and I think this 12-piece might be a good place for me to start before I move up to LISTA. Anyone have any thoughts?

I have some of the Pro series cabinets, and like them quite a bit. Whichever series you get, shop around for them. I got mine from GarageAppeal.com; I'd recommend calling them, especially if the "package deals" from Costco, et. al., don't exactly fit the bill. GarageAppeal.com may let you design your own package, with a discount off the ala carte pricing depending on how big your order is.

When I was shopping, Costco did have a deal for a "4-pack" of wall cabinets, and that was a the best deal around for those.

Somebody else recently got theirs from Overstock. I found Overstock's NewAge pricing to be way high, but maybe they adjusted.

Obviously consider shipping costs and sales taxes too--depending on where you are, that can have a significant effect. Speaking of shipping, avoid ordering cabinets one at a time, especially the wall cabinets. They are not packed to withstand Fedex/UPS/USPS. A bigger batch, strapped to a pallet and shipped via truck, is a better bet to get there intact.

Hi Linda@Lista,
Thanks for post. I think John Mannone is the regional manager in my area. We had ALL list at my old work, and ALL list at my new work. It makes me want to have Lista in my garage as well., But even at the Junk-Yard Specials deal, its just out side my budget.

I would love to buy one-time and be done with it, but the budget doesn't fit into my garage build.

Maybe I can still get a small MP600 or something just to have the Lista feel?! lol. :lol_hitti

I really like the NewAge package I got from BJ's. I had free shipping and the price was the best I found anywhere. They are decent cabinets for the money. I don't see the need to have "top of the line" stuff for my home shop - after all, I am the one using them and won't abuse them. If it were in a commercial shop, I would opt for something else. I am actually considering buying more of them.

I have a costco membership but they don't stock these locally. What does that whole setup run for at costco ?

I'm debating between that, and the Seville Classics at Sam's

I bought the Pro series from Costco when they were on sale, $500 off I believe. They came well packaged and have held up great. I was at Sears today and looked at some gladiator uppers just for the fun of it and those Gladiators are junk compared to the Pro series. The Gladiators felt like it was made out of soda cans and they were like $250 each.

I'm thinking about a set of these while they're on sale. I'd just like to see a set first...
