Update!
Got the bases installed. Went well. New age pro are well made for the price. I'm very happy. But if I was to install again and I almost did.
I'd lose to adjustable feet and build a cabinet toe kick box for them to sit on. They are a pain to level then bolt together and keep tight and level as you can't adjust the back feet once together. It's doable but way harder than it needs to be. They should make the back feet adjustable from inside the cabinet. Anyway very solid. I just need to go pick up my butcher block top in a couple weeks once I'm back from Alabama for work training.

i have 3 of them tied together and put casters on them - only issue is the casters fight each other directionally, but you can move them

I have the NewAge Diamond Plate Pro cabinets in my garage. I didn't care for the plain fronts so I went with the Diamond Plate. I have been very happy with them and they have held up well. Here is a pic of the cabinets in my woodworking shop side of the garage. I have another set of cabinets on the other side of the garage.

Thanks. I have found that if I don't really keep at it, everything ends up covered in sawdust, so I try and clean as I go. I know what you mean about throwing stuff away. When I did my garage makeover last year http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=193742 I felt like I threw away half of the garage.

Taupe is a fancy word for tan. They teach it to you in the 13th grade! lol

I think it looks good. My only issue would be having uppers and lowers matching....but matching isn't everyone's "thing". Simple enough I suppose. Just take a door off and have the paint store match it.

I'm in favor of a vynal wrap on the doors. Perhaps a hot girl washing a car.... Oh Yeah, that would get a guy to his garage often!

The NewAge Pro cabinets are a very good cabinet, no matter which color you get them in. They are fully welded 18 gauge construction and if you can't afford the really nice cabinets, like me, then they are about the best option available.

I looked into about ever metal cabinet out there last year for my makeover and I new I didn't want wood cabinets for the garage, hell I could have made wood cabinets for a lot less, if I wanted wood. I couldn't afford the really good stuff and these are a good compromise. I think they even have some new 24 gauge cabinets out now.

Looks great. I order the same from Costco and am expecting them in the next few weeks. I'm curious why not. Lunt direct to the wall versus mounting to the 1x10??

Its 3/4" plywood

I did a French cleat
I bolted 3 cabinets together on saw horse bench. Then attached upper French cleat half to back top of 3 cabinets. The bottom 3/4 x 10" was screwed to wall beforehand and has 4" behind bottom of cabinet to screw cabinets too. The 6" of plywood below is for future cabinet to box in bolt bins or hooks for cords a etc.. Haven't decided yet.

I did the French cleat to keep level and straight also ease of hanging. I bolted all together and had cleats on wall. Then called my brother over. We had then hung in 20 min. Little adjusting to bolt the 2 banks of 3 together. But was easy.
It works great.
