I am a youngish retired maintenance/repairman with lots of tools. I live in Southern California about 3 miles from the beach so the weather is mild and never much more than 85 degrees.
I am new to the forum and I am ready to pull the trigger on RaceDeck TuffShield flooring for my 20'X20' garage.
I am also ordering a set of NewAge Products Pro (18 gage 24 inch deep) Diamond Plate cabinets for the right wall and a set of NewAge Products Bold (23 gage 18 inch deep) Diamond Plate cabinets for the left wall.
I also plan on getting a Racor HeavyLift Storage Platform to hoist my 3'X6' "N" scale train layout to the 8 foot ceiling. I do not plan on using the platform that comes with the lift but just attaching the cables to eyebolts installed on the layout.
PLEASE. If you have experience with the TuffSheild flooring let me know how it has held up for you. I like the shine but it is quite a bit more $ than the RaceDeck Diamond.
If anyone has any experience with the NewAge cabinets I would greatly appreciate your experiences.
Also if anyone has used the Racor HeavyLift please let me know how that has worked out for you.
