NewAge Products - Pro Series Cabinets

Hi Gang. I've read through prior reviews but they are a couple years old. I wanted to get people's thoughts on the NewAge cabinets. Specifically, I was looking at something like this:

With discount, Can get this for about $2,500 -- maybe even a tad cheaper. It's their pro series line (thicker steel, deeper cabinets). I would be using the feet on the cabinet (not wallmounting) where applicable. Just curious to get a refresh on thoughts since I don't know where I can get "hands-on" anywhere locally.

Is there any better or other alternatives for less cost?

EDIT - how does the Bamboo worktop work with a vise? I assume it'll work well.

I have 2 sets of those and like them. The 5 drawer cabinets are not as rugged as a Harbor Freight tool chest but they are fine for DIY homeowner use. I have seen a few people buy the lockers and overhead cabinets and put a real toolchest in between. The HF chests are pretty good for the money — I have 3 of the old 44” ones.

Thanks for this. I am actually looking to supplement a HF chest. I just bought a 72 inch presale and waiting on it to arrive (another week or so). I was eyeballing this for the worktop and the uniform look. My 4 car garage is split (carriage style, 2-2). This would go in one bay, the 72 inch in another. This would be more for general use storage (chemicals, oil, fertilizer, car cleaning, etc) than tool storage.

You should check out the NewAge reviews and tips thread. Lots of reviews that are from the last year or so.

Too bad there isn't a NewAge dealer on Garage Journal, check ShopStorageCabinets.com we have the same pricing as Lowes.
