Well after some tornado damage done to my shop it will be torn down and built bigger and better. Current shop is 28 x 26. Big problem is ceiling height. It is either 7 or 8 foot. Plan is tear down current building( carefully) . Going to reuse trusses and pad. Going with wood frame this time. Going to use same dimensions 28x26 . But going with 10 foot ceilings. Also plan on building a lean to off to the right to store lawn mower and other stuff. Main shop will be for the jeeps. Oh yes I'm a jeepaholic. Love wrenching on jeeps. Very excited about this shop project. Shop is already wired for 110 and 220 will be adding a lot of new plugs and some new lighting. Here arr some pics with tbe damage roof got some damage also. Pictures don't really do justice.

Ouch, that looks like the building isn't safe any more, but it could have been worse if it had come down on top of your toys. Hope you have insurance coverage, and good luck with the new build. Keep us posted.

Well some of the cleanup started today. I never realized how much **** is in there. I rented a pod and they are going to deliver it on the 26th. I hope everything will fit . Goal is to have everything moved out and torn down ASAP. The new shop will hopefully be built the weekend of the 12th. I hope it turns out half as nice as some of the shops on here.

Got the new shop door today. It's a 20x8. Got it for 595.00 tax free. Came with all hardware. Its a chain roll up. It was a scratch and dent. I also have started tearing out old shelves and counters in shop. Ready to just knock this this shop down. Here's a few pics.

Well the pod showed up today. It's pretty cool setup how they unload/load. It's time to kick it into high gear. I have got one month to move stuff in pod, demolisih building(except trusses, and other things) construct building ,move back in. I can get the pod for longer if I need it ,but I'm a tightwad.hahha

Block debris is just going to be hauled down to the ditch for Fema to pick up. Unless someone wants it. I got pretty much everything out of the shop and into the pod. Well except the cj just gonna have to work around her. To much of a pain to move. Tomorrow I will begin tearing out electrical and then start tearing roofing off.

Got some work done this weekend. Got all electrical pulled and a little over half of roof torn off. Probably could have finished but it was like 95* outside with 100 % humidity. Hopefully finish this week.

Well first off just want to thank the lord for watching over me. You see I thought the power was off to both the 220 and 110. The 220 was still hot . Very blessed that nothing happened to me or someone else. My buddies dad was over tonight and he's the one that found it. It's definitely off now. Well got trusses down and some of the block wall. Remainder of wall will be coming down and I've got some people coming to get the block.

Well got all walls down. Had a local ad in buy sell bulletin for free block and had about 30 phone calls for it. Guy came with a huge flatbbed truck and we loaded it down. So glad my buddy came over with his tractor with front in loader. It made the job so easy. Gonna finish cleaning up the rest of **** laying around. Getting all lumber Wednesday and will hopefully dried in this next weekend weather permitting.

That is correct . I will build the new shop around the old cj. It's kinda hard to move it with no wheels, tires, axles,or suspension. Plenty of room to build around it.

I did get the front dried in today . I have way overshot my estimated time I was wanting it done. Anyhow here are some recent pics .
