Finally joining to learn a little more about garage construction. We are possibly buying a house that will need the barn torn down and a garage to go in its place.

Im a DIY Mopar and motorcycle guy so i'll want to make some good room on a reasonable budget.

I'll be looking for advice!! Thanks!

Consider making the barn your garage. But if it get town down sell the lumber if its in rustic condition. I remodeled a restuarant many years ago and paid a small fortune for some rustic barn wood and then the fire marshall made us fire-treat the wood which cost a small fortune. You might do one wall in the new garage inthe barn wood.
