After hanging around in the shadows for too long it's time to start making a meaningful contribution to the board. Although I grew up working in my dad's Union 76 3-bay station, I decided that I enjoyed working on my own cars instead of everyone else's. BTW, my avatar is my grandfather working in a Wichita garage in the mid 1930's.
Now at age 40, I enjoy wrenching on my 2002 Passat, wife's 2007 Accord and hitting the weekend sales scooping up Plomb tools and old vises. Soon I'll post up a few pics in the tool section to get help on a mystery Plomb plier that I can't ID. For now, here's a pic of my $15 Columbian 504-M2 vise that cleaned up nicely and a tool group from a estate sale two weeks ago.
