Hey Guys/Gals, I joined up following a recommendation from a Chevy truck forum that I am apart of. I currently have a 1.5 car garage which is plenty big enough for my regular cab long bed Chevy and me to still be able to work comfortably in. I however will be looking for ideas on a rewire and then plumbing a compressor so I have a few different points of air in the garage. I will be updating the wiring in the spring to have a 100A panel in the garage as a stand alone, in said panel will be a 20a for lighting/outlets a circuit for a welder and then the air compressor. I will be buying the biggest cfm rated compressor that I can fit in my specified space, which will more than likely be a vertical 60gal. I hope to gain a decent amount of knowledge from the site.

Since you're looking for a compressor, look for the MI product from St. Johns, Saylor Beall. They are a very-good product, and with a bit of searching you should be able to find a decent used one.

I used to live in MI but I had enough of the Snow Belt and now live in so. FL. If I want to visit friends, I fly to Detroit or Chicago, rent a car, and drive to that part of MI east or west where my friends are, to visit.
