About a year ago I picked up a well used KRL 1001 for a song , OK I basically stole it from the guy. Well the tracks are all shot and I do not have a regular snap-on dealer. I stopped working in repair shops and now work out of the garage sometimes. Does anyone know the part numbers for the roller slides? I am working with a friend who can get the slide for me but needs a part number.

Any help for a NEWB would be appreciated.

Snap On will warranty those slides.

But I can tell you what's wrong with them. The small rubber stop disintegrates and gets stuck in the grease of the slide. Remove the drawers. Pull out the slides, clean them with solvent and regrease. They will be like new.

Nope. The problem is that this box was mounted inside of a service truck, kinda a rolling repair shop. The slides have been pounded on by the weight if the tools bouncing down the road and the slides have been hammered hard, the bearing have been lost. Problem I am facing is that the Snap-On guys around here won't touch em because I am not a regular customer, additionally they are just generally dickheads anyway. They also keep demanding that I provide them a serial number and because this way mounted in a truck the back of the box rubbed the wall of the truck and No serial number can be read. The paint and the numbers have been rubbed off and is now rusty.

They keep demanding a serial number, eh? They must want to check it and see if there is a lien on it. I bet all of them have bought those boxes through recourse. Snap- On doesn't need the serial numbers for warranty, I just had my toolman replace my lid lifts and I didn't even buy my top box from him.
