newb question -- the bosch ps40 impactor...

does it do enough "impact" to damage chrome sockets? I would only be using it for light repetitive duty, obviously. I don't have much experience with impact tools yet but know not to use chrome sockets on a real impact gun.

Does this little beast have enough power to do damage?

Thanks!

EDIT: title change, yes ps40, not "p40" -- sorry

im assuming you mean the ps40, if so it doesnt create enough torque to hurt sockets. ive had one for a couple years now and i love it. use it every day.

I also have the Bosch ps40 and I use it often. I havent had any problem with it damaging any 1/4 drive sockets. I use it alot when I am taking large panels off to get to service areas on machines I find it to be a huge time savor over screw drivers or ratchets and sockets. For the past year this tool has probably been responsible for 1/2 of the use on all of my 1/4 drive sockets no damage and no complaints.

I tried the Makita litiom ion the other day. A friend brought it over to do some work on his car and it was also very nice.
