Hey guys, this is one site I've been meaning to join for some time. I live in the Seattle area now, but I will start living (during the winter months) in Charleston, South Carolina next winter. We just bought a house ( soon to be built ) in the Charleston area that has something called a drive-under garage...a six car garage to be exact! I've died and gone to heaven! The thing about this garage is that it's designed with vertical wood planks on the sides of the garage to allow water to flow through in the event of flooding, so it will not have any drywall on the insides when it is built. Now the question: Any suggestions on what to use to seal up this garage a bit for privacy/security and to keep it comfortable on the cooler days? I have thought about heavy gauge plastic sheeting with snaps on the bottom to allow water to pop them loose. Thanks for any suggestions, and I look forward to equipping my new garage with help from this great site.
