I stumbled on this site while I was looking for tips on coating the floor of my shed. My house had a 35-year old greenhouse that was rotting away and needed replaced. It was 10' x 20' with door access from one of the lower rooms of my split-level. I already had 8" footings 40" deep, a small floor drain in the stairwell and an HVAC duct. I figured it was a great excuse to build a small manshed for my old Japanese bikes. So here I am.
Since I had such I good start, I used 2" x 6" to frame it out, had a couple of windows made, put in a 4' wide insulated roll up door, added additional foam insulation against house to help with noise, and 6" of insulation everywhere else.
