Hello everyone, just wanted to pop in to introduce myself! Name's Nick, bought a log home with a decent sized shop/barn a few months ago and I'm finally ready to turn my attention on remodeling/updating the shop now that the house has went though it's major updates.

It was previously used as an auto repair/race shop back in the 70s/early 80s (that, coincidentally enough, my father used to deliver parts to in his younger days and he and my uncles spent a lot of time in), and them spent about the next 25 years steadily declining in condition and use.

During our typically heavy Indiana thunderstorms, the joint between the old/new barn leaks considerably, so getting that dialed in is on the top of the priority list. The gutters also need repaired/replaced as they have lots of holes in them and have many high/low spots. Chimney leaks as well.

I'll get some interior pics later, but right now it's still full of our stuff from the move plus a lot of the previous owner's junk.

I don't have a solid plan yet as far as what I want to do with it. In general, I want the interior to be white and bright, and I want to retain the rustic look of the exterior.

I work for an automotive detailing supply manufacturer and detail cars in my spare time, so bright and clean are a must. Thought about epoxying the floor as well, but I think I've decided against that.

Any thoughts/feelings/suggestions are more than welcome. Glad to be here!
