Hi - I've been lurking since I discovered GJ last year and thought it was about time I posted. I'm from just to the east of Edinburgh in Scotland.
I've had decent workshops/garages in the past but have spent the last 7/8yrs without one - I've only got my shed which is for working on Mountain bikes and unfortunately all my car work has to be done outside. This will be changing in the next few months
as I'm in the process of getting plans drawn up for extending the house which will give me a garage with an extra bedroom above. It'll be pretty small going by most of the stuff on here but 20 x 16 (6m x 5m) ish is the biggest I can fit in on the land I have. It'll be the first workspace I've been able to plan from scratch and thanks to everyone for all the good info/tips etc that is on GJ.
I promise I'll start a build thread as soon as the plans are finalised.
