Hi All
Stumbled upon this site as I am attempting to build a brake drum pot belly stove.
I have made a few wood burners in the last year or so out of car/light truck rims, gas bottles and car LPG tanks. I like to scavenge what I can from where I can, be it the steel bins at work, car grave yards or curbside rubbish - I call it - "Creative Salvaging".
No proper welding training, just like to tinker so bought a welder and went from there.
As for my "garage" situation, as of now I actually don't have one, dismantled for an upgrade but am expecting delivery and prompt assembly of my new one very soon. Luckily for me, the weather in lil 'ol Adelaide is currently suitable to work outside in.
Looking forward to getting tips from anyone who is willing to offer.
