Hey guys
I'm a newbie from over in the UK, South West - cider and cheese county, to be exact.
I'm looking to extend my existing garage, so will be looking for ideas and entusiasm to get kick started.
Currently hoping to do as much as I can myself to keep costs sensible.
First step is to create some drawings for planning permission. I have downloaded SketchUp but can't get on with it.
I'm tempted to draw them by hand, but digital drawings will obviously be easier to make amendments if/as neccesary. Shout if there's some (free) software or programmes that can be used to create reasonable elevations and floorplans.
