Hi All,
I found this place after looking up the 12 gauge garage and have spent the last two days browsing in awe! I'm a petrolhead, mainly into classic cars and am currently restoring an MGB GT V8. I'm using my parents garage facilities at the moment but look forward to having my own garage one day. Here is the car as I bought it a few yrs ago.
And here it is as of last week:
As you can see its on a polytunnel for the rebuild, the main 3 bay garage with the pit being full of my dads motorhome, his van and the pit bay being used regularly. Not much to look at but it has electric and is dry, woo! Its named Olympic with the identical tunnel next to it being named Titanic (used for storing junk). They got these names as when we were building then, I commented that they looked like the ships RMS Olympic and RMS Titanic being built side by side. If people are really that interested i'll get some more pics
Along with that, I have a 1964 Ford Anglia that needs restoring and a 125cc Shifter kart I race. My wife is from WA and we are going to move there in a few years where I hope to build and fit a garage to store all three of these along with the Porsche 911 her uncle no longer wants.
Look forward to getting to know everyone here, even though I wont have a huge amount to contribute for a bit!
