Hi everybody,

I came accross this forum from a link from autopia. Anyhow, last year my g/f and I bought a townhouse which has a decent two car garage. Being kind of a car nut I want to do something about the floor. It looks good and no crack in the floor yet (new townhouse). There are some cracks around the perimeter but really the surface is smooth. Unfortunately, parking is kind of tight where we live so I cannot take too much time to put some flooring down - leaving some sort of tiles as the best option.

I have looked at the Sticky and found several tile manufactures. I am still in the planning stages but I guess race deck is an option. I am intrigued by the BigFoot rubber garage floor tiles. It seems that they might be easier to install (easier to cut), the price seems pretty good. Has anyone ever used them? I would love to see pictures.

Thanks.

I do not know too much on the BigFoot product. 'But'...if it is Rubber you will have a strong odor from the flooring, there are other issues wit rubber such as staining / soaking in of liquids and expansion & contraction issues. Note: Rubber is not the same as PVC ( Poly Vinyl Chloride )...My guess is that's what they may be.

As for cutting, both rubber tiles and RaceDeck are pretty easy and if you can use a power handsaw or table saw, RaceDeck would even be easier...
