Hello everyone!
I am moving into my new home (which my fiance and I had built for us through KB Homes her in Az) February 8th. Luckily, the garage will be a clean slate. The walls will not be textured or anything. 2 car, 1 single large garage door. I would say its pretty standard are far as size goes. I don't remember the exact size, but I am fairly certain I stepped off somewhere around 6 paced in width by 8 paced depth.
I am not a detailer by trade, but I do have a small up and coming side business. I am EXTREMELY meticulous and really want some quality things in my garage. My goals are to buy primarily pre-built things such as storage, shelving, and lighting, and then do what I can with it.
My plans include some kind of epoxy floor coating, a workbench, small tool box unit, 1 or 2 wall-mounted cupboards, and my pre-built 5 shelf rack which I have in my apartment currently. We will have a soft water tank right smack in the middle of it and also a door directly in front of you if you are pulling into the garage. So, as you can imagine, space a fairly tight, but reasonable at the least.
I would like to pick your brains for wall colors, lighting, floor coatings, etc.
Sean
