Just bought a new (to us) home with a triple car garage. It's got 10 foot ceilings, gas heater and is completely finished inside. Other than that it's a blank slate.
I want slat wall (or similar), but can't afford to cover the entire wall. I'm thinking of two 4 x 8 panels and one 4 x 4 panel. Has anyone used this and is it junk?

Or, do you have any other recommendations. I live in a very cold climate so don't want to use any material that might possibly expand or be subject to moisture (ie wood derivative slatwall - focusing on PVC slatwall).
Thanx.
