Newbie Here

Just wanted to give a shout out and introduce myself. I am quite new to the world of Forums. I've always asked friends and family for advice and a lot of them would just say "Google It". So I would. Eventually I started noticing that I would have helpful advice to some people but apparently talking to the computer screen doesn't get the job done.
So I'm taking my own advice and feel if this is the way the world is turning, why not go with it.
I'm Love working in the Garage either coming up with new projects for myself or often times fixing things that have broken. Sad to say My wife has a whole list of projects for me on Pinterest but I try and keep busy with other projects for "Me" before I say I can get to her Pinterest projects.
Thought this would be a Good Forum to join, If anything Just to try out.

So Hello Everyone and I guess see you on the Forum(s).

Thanks in advance to any advice when navigating this site or good places to look on here to see how things work.

P.S. Those Smileys look fun...Hope I get to use them...or learn how to use them.

Thanks Guys! Wow. Didn't realize how far this went to. I mean Australia. I definitely see myself getting lost in this place. My head is already spinning. I do have a quick question. How do I put up a picture under my name like everyone else?
