Wife is on backside to redo garage floor that was painted 16 years ago. Beneath is a clean slab. While I would like a professionally done Polyurea or epoxy, the $6 per ft. won't work.
Thinking of renting a floor maintainer with a sanding disc for the removal. I know the dust will be an issue but don't want the mess of using a stripper. After that I was thinking of staining and applying a high gloss sealer with a traction aid.
Questions:
Will a non acid type stain give me the same look ? If so , what brands.
Will a good sealer hold up to hot tires ?
Thanks
