Hello everyone..
Building a new garage and paranoid about condensation. My garage has slightly odd dimensions, 13X3.5m (about 120 cubic meters). Metal insulated roof and good insulated door, but the walls are prefabricated concrete walls. May install some wall insulation later.
I live in Glasgow, UK. condensation is bad in winter. I used dehumidefier in my old garage but was not very effective at low temp.
I have to admit the car(s) will be parked in the garage wet! I understand heating and dehumidefication are the best solution but due to the size of the garage I doubt if a reasonable price dehumidifier would be effective and it will be too expensive also to heat the garage.
My question is about ideas to stop condensation. I looked at the archive and thinking about extraction fan and may be also ceiling fan.
Thank you
