Hey-found this place through Google and it is amazing. Was wondering if I could get some thoughts on some ideas. I am a shade-tree wrencher and have a pretty fair set of mostly Crafstman tools. I have always lusted after those complete tool sets like the Facom Ferrari, Teng 1001, etc. I think I like the neatness of the modular approach.

Do any of the US tool makers do the module thing?
Anyone know if the Teng tools will hold up?
Facom or Hazet?
Should I stop wasting my money and just foam shadow my box for my exisiting tools?

Thanks for you help!

Firstly, welcome to the board.
Some of Armstrong's products are avaiable in modular foam, but only a limited range, such as some wrench sets and extension sets.
Beta tools do an extensive range , both in modular foam and also thermo formed plastic trays.
As for Hazet, they make superb tools (but over here at least) they are very close to Snap-On in price.
Some Teng stuff is ok, but stay away from their plasic/composite ratchets as they are truly awful.

Regards Jon
