Hi- Just found this website yesterday and have gotten more info than I could hope for.
In the process of building an attached garage. Garage will be 24x32, single 16ft door on front with 7ft rollup on rear wall. My master bedroom will be above garage so it will be well insulated.
I will be putting in radiant floor heating with heat supplied by propane flash heater.
Here's the main question- When I have the guys do the cement floor what is the best way to finish it---forgot to mention I'll be putting an epoxy floor on.
I've read about grinding it but was wondering if a semi-rough finish at time of pour would be better and/or time saving.
Also if anyone has ideas on which brand to use. Initially I was going to use UCoatit but now I'm thinking of others.
Any help would be appreciated.

For our system using an epoxy primer you would request a very light broom finish and no sealers. Then the 28 day cure.

We do have a primer that's applied within 4 hours of the pour that allows you to coat the epoxy the next day or so, but it needs to be applied by a coating contractor.
