Hey all,
i found this site a few weeks ago... and well i seem to keep on coming back around to drool on some of the garages/toolboxes out here:drool:. I found this out when i was painting my garage/laying down epoxy floor coating and been lurking ever since. onto my question,I recently purchased a craftman toolbox at a flea market for 20 bux packed with tools and I felt it needed a lil TLC due to a bit of rust on the body and drawers so i decided to completely strip it and repaint it. i got to the point where i completely stripped and sanded it down with 60-100-150 and. I am painting it with the rustoleom stop rust sunrise red for the actual toolbox and semi gloss black for the drawers. I just have no idea how it will fare with a toolbox since it will be used quite often :). Should i coat it with a few layers of clear or will the rustoleom hold up fine to bangs etc etc.

Thanks in advance.

Riktar,

Welcome to the site. If you do some diggin, you'll find several threads about tool box refurbs. I myself am in the middle of a refurb and don't plan on using a clear coat. I would thinkt he rustoleum would be fine imho.

Best of luck and again, welcome to GJ.
