Rick: i might not be the vise expert, but i've read and posted a few times and started a few of those threads. since you were looking for vise information are you looking for a good vise or do you already own one and need more information about it?

post up a few pictures of yours or a few of your favorites and if you have questions just ask if you can't find the answers in your searches.

my favorite vises are made by Rock Island and Reed, but there are so many good vises i'm sure you might have a favorite of your own. here's a few pictures for your thread of a couple of mine.
