Hi, Newbie been lurking for awhile.
Just bought a new house with a must have 28X40x14.5' high garage. Struggling to get really going on the garage, still in the planning stages. Cleaning out old owners ****. Working with what is already there. Has 100 amp service panel, some wiring, lights (40 CFL's wired, I know). Found the other day a 1" gas line run from house to garage but never hooked up (bonus
). From reading this FORUM I've run a snake through it and tested it for leaks, all seem good. Since I am in MI will need HEAT! currently have a 50K max Modine probably not big enought but will have to do for now.
1. Plumb gas into building
2. Sort out wiring and lay out
3. Build overhead storage (new ideas again from FORUM)
4. Insulate
5. wall material undecided (dywall, metal?)
