Hello, All -
I came here through a link posted on DigitalCorvettes.
I built a new garage over my existing pad last fall, and am nearing the finishing stages.
Drywall is almost ready to start - I've got to finish the ceiling insulation first. I finished the walls last week.
I haven't decided what to do about flooring. Part of me wants a nice floor to work from, but another part tells me that the smooth flooring that the builder did is fine.
I'll have white walls & ceiling when the drywall is complete, but I'm thinking of going with gray on the lower side of the wall, with some kind of Corvette border, or perhaps a checkerboard in wht/blk. I've seen people use racer's tape in a checkerboard pattern, and it looks pretty good (but I'm worried about durability).
I've got four speaker boxes that I built mounted and ready to accept my Boston Acoustics in ceiling speakers when the drywall is finished.
The garage is built to house my '95 Corvette coupe (black, six speed), and provide a place for automotive related mayhem.
Glad to be here,
Steven
